Mediclaim Policy

  1. Our Mediclaim policy is placed with Liberty Insurance, and our broker is Bima Solutions.
  2. All on-roll employees are covered under Mediclaim except employees under ESIC. (ESIC, also known as Employee State Insurance Corporation is a government organisation that manages the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) scheme. This scheme provides medical and financial assistance to employees and their families during sickness, employment injury, maternity, or disability).
    Check your payslip to identify if you are covered under ESIC.
  3. Your Sum Insured is based on your Grade. See details below:

Note: All on-roll employees are covered except those under ESIC.

Enrollment & Family Details

  1. To enroll under Mediclaim, ensure you have added your family members in OneWaaree.
    Path: Login → View Profile → Personal Detail Change Request → New Request → Family Details → Change → Add Family Details → Submit
  2. Newborns must be added immediately. If the child is not yet named, enter details as Baby Girl/Boy of [Employee Name].
  3. Enrollment must be completed within 7 days of joining; otherwise, inclusion in the medical insurance will be delayed.
  4. Every 10th of the month, family members are added in the Mediclaim data and enrolment usually takes 15-20 days.

How to Download Your Mediclaim Card

For WAAREE ENERGIES LIMITED (WEL) & Other Companies

  2. Use the below credentials:
    • Employee Code: Specific employee code for each employee
    • Company Name: WAAREE ENERGIES LIMITED (Ensure you write the company name as specified)
  3. Click Submit to download your Mediclaim Card.
For WAAREE RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (WRTL)
  1. Go to the link: Health Insurance Claim Process - Liberty General Insurance
  2. Use the below credentials:
    • Employee Code: Specific employee code for each employee
    • Company Name: WAAREE RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (Ensure you write the company name as specified)
  3. Click Submit to download your Mediclaim Card.

Policy Details

  1. Family Definition – Employee + Spouse + 2 Dependent Children.
  2. Age Band – Adult: 18 to 65 years; Children: Day 1 to 25 years.
  3. Sum Insured – Family floater fixed at: ₹3,00,000 / ₹5,00,000 / ₹7,00,000 / ₹10,00,000.
  4. Pre-existing diseases are covered.
  5. 1st year exclusion is waived off.
  6. 30 days waiting period is waived off.
  7. Pre & Post Hospitalisation – 30 days pre and 60 days post hospitalisation covered.
  8. Room Rent – Single standard A/c room for normal max upto INR 7,000/- & for ICU -Actuals or INR 25,000/- whichever is lower. (proportionate clause applicable) and all other related charges in accordance with room rent restriction or actual whichever is lower. In the event of a person getting admitted in higher category, the related charges will be pro-rated to the eligibility limit as per the room rent restriction. All other related charges will among other things include OT charges, RMO/ Doctors charges , IV FLUID TRANSFUSION/INJECTION , Nursing charges and Administrative Charges and the same will be payable as per room rent entitlement
  9. Maternity – Covered up to INR 35,000 for Normal and up to INR 50,000 for C-section.
  10. Maternity waiting period – 9 month waiting period waived off.
  11. Newborn – Covered from day one under family floater sum insured applicable to the Employee.
  12. Ayurvedic Treatment – Covered up to sum insured if hospitalized in Government-recognized hospitals (cosmetic procedures excluded).
  13. Ambulance – Covered up to INR 1,000 per occurrence (on admission only).
  14. Internal Congenital Diseases – Covered.
  15. Modern Treatments & Technology – Covered as per LGI policy terms (e.g., advanced/modern procedures where applicable).
  16. Cataract – Covered up to INR 24,000 per eye.
  17. Dependent rule – 2 dependents for bonding purpose only; dependent child up to 25 years as exception. Further inclusions not allowed.

For Reimbursement:

In case of emergency, employees can opt for reimbursement. The steps are as follows:

  1. On admission of the patient, immediately intimate the HR Team and the Insurance Company via email and phone call.
  2. A list of required documents will be needed — view it using the link below.
